Die Indie-Soul-Sängerin und ehemalige NBC-The-Voice-Kandidatin Ali Caldwell (u. a. supporting vocals for Christina Aguilera) zeigt sich mit dem festlichen neuen Song “Beautiful Northern Star” von ihrer weihnachtlichen Seite.
Beautiful Northern Star ist ein eingängig produziertes Weihnachtslied mit Jazzy-/Swing-Einschlag und wurde vom slowakischen Komponisten und Saxophonisten Milo Suchomel für eine slowakische Fernsehsendung im Jahr 2007 geschrieben. Der Text stammt aus der Feder des berühmten slowakischen Tennisspielers Karol Kučera. 2017 überarbeitete Milo Suchomel den Song und arrangierte diesen musikalisch für das große Orchester und Vocals im Swing-Stil. Erstmals erscheint das Weihnachtslied als EP zusammen mit internationalen Versionen in englischer und slowakischer Sprache.
Die R&B-Sängerin Ali Caldwell ist eine dynamische und kraftvolle Virtuosin mit einer sanften Art, deren Stimme ebenso mitreißend wie beruhigend ist. Die US-Sängerin war Finalistin beim amerikanischen Wettbewerb THE VOICE USA (Staffel 11). Ihr Teilnahmesong stieg danach in die Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales Charts ein. Als unabhängige Künstlerin war sie Headliner bei 6 internationalen Europatourneen, die 7 Länder umfassten, und zuletzt trat sie beim SXSW 2022 in Austin, TX im beeindruckenden Wisdome auf.
Das offizielle Video entstand unter der Regie von Stanislav Gužák und dem ausführenden Produzenten Rolo Kubina.
Milo Suchomel ist einer der herausragenden Persönlichkeiten und führenden Saxophonisten des slowakischen Jazz. Neben seinem Saxophonspiel ist er auch als Komponist von Jazz, Pop, Weltmusik und Filmmusik kreativ. Er gründete 2013 sein Ensemble Milo Suchomel Orchestra. Neben den Eigenkompositionen führt das Orchester auch bekannte Jazz- und Popkompositionen auf. Der Produzent ist ebenso Organisator des Gypsy Jazz Festivals in Bratislava / Slowakei, auf dem das Orchester regelmäßig auftritt und u. a. Weltstars wie Gail Anderson (USA), Rick Margitza (USA), Bill Evans (USA), Tim Armacost (USA), Ali Caldwell (USA) und Melanie Bong (Deutschland) begleitet hat.

Beautiful Northern Star is a catchy Christmas song with a jazz/swing spin, written by Slovakian composer and saxophonist Milo Suchomel for a Slovakian television programme in 2007. The lyrics were penned by the famous Slovak tennis player Karol Kučera. In 2017 Milo Suchomel reworked the song and arranged it musically for the large orchestra and swing-style vocals. For the first time, the Christmas song is being released as an EP together with international versions in English and Slovakian.
Indie soul singer and former NBC The Voice contestant Ali Caldwell (supporting vocals for Christina Aguilera, among others) shows her Christmas side with the festive new song Beautiful Northern Star. The R&B singer is a dynamic and powerful virtuoso with a soulful touch whose voice is as captivating as it is soothing. The US singer was a finalist in the American competition THE VOICE USA (season 11). Her participation song subsequently entered the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales charts. She Headlined 6 International European Tours encompassing 7 countries as an independent artist and most recently, performed & killed SXSW 2022 in Austin,TX at the impressive Wisdome.

Milo Suchomel is one of the most outstanding personalities and leading saxophonists of Slovak jazz. In addition to his saxophone play, he is also a creative composer of jazz, pop, world music and film music. He founded his ensemble Milo Suchomel Orchestra in 2013. In addition to his own works, the orchestra also performs well-known jazz and pop compositions. The producer is also the organiser of the Gypsy Jazz Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia, where the orchestra regularly performs and has accompanied world stars such as Gail Anderson (USA), Rick Margitza (USA), Bill Evans (USA), Tim Armacost (USA), Ali Caldwell (USA) and Melanie Bong (Germany).
