Das Mini-Album MATCH bietet einen echten Vorgeschmack auf das anstehende Album NEBULA, das im Frühjahr 2023 erscheint. Der ursprünglich für das Album vorgesehene Song Winners bekommt eine prominente Bühne: radiotaugliche Mixversionen des Siegertitel, speziell für Sport-Reportagen und -Wettkämpfe geschaffen.
Unter dem Sport-Motto finden auch die Album-Auskopplungen Déjà-vu (Marathon-Version) und Ping Pong Song Platz. Die WIKU-Schmiede verpasste Ping Pong Song (Album Volcano) kurzerhand einen heißen, schnellen Schliff (New Flat Mix).
WIKU, 2007 als Elektroprojekt gegründet vom Schweizer Komponisten- und Produzenten-Duo Willi + Kurt Gasser aus dem Süd-Jura, visualisiert ihre dreidimensionalen akustischen Visionen für Filmmusik, dominiert von elektronischen Klängen. Brillant kombiniert werden musikalische Gene alter 70’ies Electronic-Avantgarde, antikem Elektropop und modernem Trancesound in ihrem mysteriösen Studio-Reagenzglas zu einem Evolutions-Soundtrack zusammengebraut.

With atmospheric-rhythmic soundscapes the WIKU kitchen burns at full speed. The next course of the menu is served by the sound professors from the South Jura: Electro-Pop-applied compositions of the top class.
The mini album MATCH offers a real appetizer for the upcoming album NEBULA, which will be released in spring 2023. The song Winners, originally intended for the album, gets a prominent stage: radio-ready mix versions of the winning track, created especially for sports reports and competitions.
The album releases Déjà vu (Marathon version) and Ping Pong Song also find place under the sports motto. WIKU’s forge unceremoniously gave Ping Pong Song (album Volcano) a hot, fast polish (New Flat Mix).
WIKU, founded in 2007 as an electro project by Swiss composer and producer duo Willi + Kurt Gasser from the South Jura, visualizes their three-dimensional acoustic visions for film music, dominated by electronic sounds. Brilliantly combining musical genes of old 70’ies electronic avant-garde, antique electropop and modern trance sound, is brewed into an evolution soundtrack in their mysterious studio test tube.
WIKU’s music is colorful, dynamic and sounds atmospheric, imaginative, relaxing. To create a musical work of art, WIKU combines sound fragments of various everyday noises with great skill. With innovative instrumentation, WIKU have created their own and unique sound over the last 15 years: smooth (world) jazz base, outstandingly orchestrated with strings and choral tones.
